about me
This is me:
I’m a 22-year-old living in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and our menagerie of pets. I’m a recent college graduate, and after spending five years getting a B.A. in English I’m going another direction entirely and getting my A.S. in Veterinary Technology! My dream is to work in a zoo, with rescues, or in wild animal rehabilitation, but I love all animals so we’ll just have to see where life takes me!
I’m nerdy, silly, passionate, shy, creative, melancholy, loyal, and perhaps half a dictionary’s worth more. My favorite color is violet, my favorite food is Mexican, and if I had an intravenous caffeine drip I’d still have a cup of coffee in my hand. I’m a lover of family, nature, books, animals and music. I spend most of my conscious non-school hours reading, internet-ing, playing video games, shopping, watching crime shows or dark comedies, or cuddling up with my bunny. I believe that it’s important to know who you are, and to celebrate that. I also believe that the most important thing in life is love, and without it there’s not really much to life.
Here’s Dan, my husband, best friend, partner in crime (or more likely just silliness):
Dan and I are very alike and yet different enough to annoy each other on occasion, just to keep things interesting. We met in fourth grade and when we finally started dating in college, it was pretty clear we were meant to be, as the cheesy cliché goes.
